As a long time advocate for Direct Election of the Regional Chair I congratulate Councillors Pickles and Littley and Councillors O’Connell and Mclean for their motions in support of this worthwhile initiative. ( To be debated on Feb 16 at 7.30pm)

Pickering residents voted 89% in favour of this in the last election and still nothing has happening.  The status quo remains. Some Regional Councillors are out of touch with their constituents on this issue.   If Regional Councillor does not do the right thing….MPP’s Arthurs and Dickson should….

Best of luck to all our Olympians.  I am sure all of Canada will get behind our atheletes.  In turn, they will go for GOLD and make us proud.

For only the third time we host the Games.  I am sure it will show our beautiful country off to the World.
